DESCRIPTION/INFORMATION

-AE-009, "HARBINGER," is an anomalous owl that might appear near a human who is about to experience a near-death event.

HARBINGER will “howl” profusely before the event, which can be perceived as an attempt to warn the human.

SPECIFIC APPEARANCE

-HARBINGER has long legs, big eyes, and a small crown on its head. It does not look like any specific species of owl known to man, but vaguely resembles one and acts like one.

Conflicting reports of the color of HARBINGER have been received. The most common reports say HARBINGER has gray feathers, white eyes and a blue crown. Other reports proclaim entirely differentcolors seen.

COMMENT

-As capture of HARBINGER has proved impossible, as HARBINGER seemingly vanishes after the near-death event takes place, it is impossible to conduct any sort of testing upon HARBINGER, or confirm its existence.

Any attempts to artificially trigger a near-death event upon a human to summon HARBINGER have proven futile.

 ABILITIES

-HARBINGER can either teleport / become invisible.

-HARBINGER can predict, or, somehow knows, the future.

-According to one report, HARBINGER may be invulnerable to attacks. The report proclaimed that a rock went straight through HARBINGER, almost as if HARBINGER was seemingly a projection or illusion.

HISTORY

-HARBINGER was most frequently reported in the early 1900s before the infamous AE-004 “BAGMAN” attacks all over Thuringia, Germany. All existing accounts, except one, of the original “BAGMAN” attacks contain a description of the howling and/or sight of HARBINGER. Since then, HARBINGER was only reported a few times, once by a civilian who survived the Port Weissberg Nuclear Incident and proclaimed he saw it exactly 5 minutes before the explosion.

FINAL COMMENTS

-HARBINGER might not even exist, however, considering how many reports and accounts of HARBINGER have been filed, that is unlikely, and even so, we cannot afford to merely write off these reports as schizophrenic hearsay.

Something must be done to either find out more about HARBINGER, or capture it. What will that something be? I do not know, for now at least.
